FINS

Used by competitive and casual swimmers alike to build leg strength and vary workouts. All fins add stress to the knees and ankles. Fins should be used as a supplement to your workouts; using them every time you swim can result in loosing upper body strength as the fin will propel you through the water making it less likely that you will be working your arms and hands to “catch” and pull yourself through the water.

Short blade fins allow the swimmer to maintain the six-beat kick race/swimming cadence, and work fast-twitch muscle development. Longer bladed fins move more water giving swimmer the “feel” of fast swimming…its fun for a change of pace in any workout.

When sizing fins, size down 1-2 sizes for female equivalent.
